Program Cancellation Policy
General Registration Policies
For age restrictions, participants must be the correct age prior to the last day of the program.
If the program has pre-requisites, participants must have successfully completed the requirements prior to registering for the program.
Refunds will not be issued to participants who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes for seasonal/outdoor programs.
Account Credits are available for use for registration for any family members listed on the account. The credits are only available for registration in recreation programs and workshops and cannot be applied to property or rental invoices.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for refund cheque processing.
All classes are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient registration.
Should a class be cancelled due to insufficient registration, you will be notified by phone one day prior to the commencement of the program.
When a program is cancelled due to insufficient registration you have the following options:
- Transfer participant to another program. Subject to space availability.
- Receive an Account Credit on your registration account.
- Receive a refund cheque for the full amount of the program registration.
All withdrawal requests must be provided in writing to the Recreation Manager, by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
A $20 administration fee is charged per participant, per program, and the remaining balance refunded via cheque or provided as an Account Credit.

A doctor’s note must accompany withdrawal / transfer requests due to medical reasons.
A pro-rated refund will be issued in the form of a cheque or an Account Credit.
Photos / Videos
Photos and/or videos may be taken by the Cranston Residents Association staff during this registered program and may be used for future promotional materials. If you have any questions, please contact the Recreation Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org
DAY CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds and cancellations can be requested up to 2 weeks prior to the day camp start date with a non-refundable administration fee of $20.00. All requests must be made in writing, by contacting the Recreation Manager at email@example.com. No refunds will be issued for programs cancelled less than two weeks prior to the camp start date unless for medical reasons and documentation is provided.
